Crew Toolbox is provided by Aukridge LLC. You do not need a Crew Toolbox account to use the app. This policy covers the Crew Toolbox app, beta testing, and support sent to feedback@aukridge.com.

INFORMATION PROCESSED ON YOUR DEVICE

Crew Toolbox processes calculator inputs, saved tool records, preferences, routes, and imported documents on your device. Its document-processing features do not automatically upload your documents or saved records to Aukridge. Sharing, online map and weather services, and TestFlight involve separate information flows described below.

Flight-release PDFs are read locally. The app saves structured release records for reuse; its release archive does not contain the raw PDF. Files you select from Files, iCloud, or another provider remain in their original location. When iOS places a copy in the app's Inbox, the importer removes that copy after reading and reports a cleanup failure if it cannot do so.

Performance-manual imports retain a protected local working PDF and recovery checkpoints while import and review are unfinished, including across restarts. Adding the dataset or canceling and deleting the import removes those working files. Saved datasets retain validated data and related source references and import evidence. Dataset files are configured to be excluded from device backups and protected using iOS file protection; this statement does not apply to every kind of app data.

You can use the available in-app controls to delete saved records and imported datasets. Deleting an app record does not delete your original documents or copies you previously shared with another service or person.

ONLINE SERVICES AND LOCATION

Crew Toolbox automatically checks an Aukridge data catalog hosted on GitHub when the app opens or returns to the foreground, subject to a six-hour check interval. You can also request checks and navigation-data downloads. Downloads use GitHub-hosted files and may continue in the background. The navigation data is derived from FAA sources; this does not mean every download connects directly to FAA servers. Route Explorer uses Apple MapKit for maps, Aviation Weather Center services for selected weather layers, and NOAA services for radar. Weather requests include the requested geographic area. Online services can receive your connection's IP address and request metadata, such as the requested resource, time, and client headers. Map and weather requests may reveal the area you are viewing. When you ask Route Explorer to center on your location, the app requests location permission and uses the permitted location to position the map and display your location. You can change Crew Toolbox's location permission in iOS Settings. A map area centered on your location may also be used for weather requests. These services handle information under their own applicable policies.

SHARING AND FEEDBACK

If you export a Score Card, Holding Fuel record, or dataset, Crew Toolbox creates temporary export files and opens the system share sheet. The app or recipient you choose receives what you share and handles it under its own practices. Review exported content before sharing it.

If you email feedback@aukridge.com, Aukridge receives your email address, message, attachments, and other information you choose to send. Support email is handled through Google Workspace. Aukridge uses support messages to respond to requests and investigate reported issues. Avoid sending documents or personal information that are unnecessary for your request. When you use a TestFlight beta, Apple automatically collects crash logs and usage information and shares it with Aukridge as the app provider; this collection cannot be opted out of while testing through TestFlight. It includes app and device information. Apple also shares feedback and screenshots you submit. Whether Aukridge can see your name and email address depends on the invitation and feedback context. ACCESS, RETENTION, AND DELETION

Aukridge limits access to support and beta information to personnel who need it to respond to requests, investigate reports, maintain security, and improve Crew Toolbox, and to service providers used for those purposes. Aukridge does not sell this information, use it for advertising, or track you across other companies' apps or websites.

Aukridge retains identifiable support messages, TestFlight feedback, and any beta diagnostics it copies from Apple for up to 12 months after the last activity on the report. Aukridge then deletes or de-identifies the information. It may retain information longer when reasonably necessary to address an active security or legal matter, comply with law, or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. De-identified engineering notes may be retained.

You may delete local Crew Toolbox information using the app's deletion controls or by deleting the app. To request access to or deletion of support or beta information controlled by Aukridge, email feedback@aukridge.com from the address associated with the information. Aukridge will respond within 30 days after verifying the request. Deletion from service-provider backups follows the provider's normal retention cycle. Apple, Google, GitHub, NOAA, file providers, and sharing recipients control information they hold under their own policies.
